Editorial standards and methodology
BestAIMarketingTools.com is an independent review platform. Every score, every recommendation, and every word is backed by real testing on real campaigns. This page explains exactly how we work.
Our promise: No tool can pay for a higher ranking or better score. We buy every tool with our own money, test it on real campaigns, and publish what we find, good and bad.
How we test
Every tool we review goes through a structured testing process:
- Minimum 2 weeks of real use. We do not write reviews from demos or screenshots. Every tool gets used on actual marketing campaigns with real data.
- Scored on 8 criteria. Features, ease of use, AI quality, value for money, integrations, support, scalability, and unique strengths. Each category is weighted and scored independently.
- Compared against alternatives. Every review includes a head-to-head comparison with the top 3-4 competing tools in the same category.
- Updated when tools change. Major feature releases, pricing changes, or UI overhauls trigger a re-test. We note the update date on every article.
Our scoring system
- 9.0 – 10.0: Exceptional. Best in class with minimal downsides.
- 8.0 – 8.9: Very good. Strong recommendation for the right use case.
- 7.0 – 7.9: Good. Solid tool with notable trade-offs.
- 6.0 – 6.9: Decent. Works but better alternatives exist.
- Below 6.0: Not recommended. Significant issues that outweigh the benefits.
How we make money
BestAIMarketingTools.com earns revenue through affiliate commissions. When you click a link to a tool and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
This is important: affiliate relationships never influence our scores or rankings. We recommend tools based purely on testing performance. If a free tool beats a paid tool for your use case, that is what we recommend, even if it means zero commission.
We clearly label affiliate links with rel="sponsored" in our HTML, as required by Google’s guidelines.
Who writes the reviews
All reviews are written by Mark, an independent AI marketing analyst who has been testing marketing tools professionally since 2022. Every article reflects hands-on experience, not press releases or vendor marketing copy.
Corrections and updates
If we get something wrong, we fix it. If a tool has changed significantly since our review, we update it. Every article shows its last updated date. If you spot an error, contact us at bestaimarketingtools@gmail.com.
