Mega, an AI marketing platform that started as a video game business, announced $11.5 million in Series A funding on March 9, 2026. The round was led by Goodwater Capital. The company pivoted from gaming after building an internal AI agent on ChatGPT that dramatically improved their own SEO and ad performance.
The Mega platform offers fully autonomous marketing agents that handle strategy, execution, and reporting without human intervention. Unlike typical AI tools that require constant prompting, Mega’s agents work independently once given a goal.
The platform is organized into three agent categories. SEO agents write blog posts and perform keyword research. Ad agents create briefs and design creative. Website agents optimize design and navigation for user experience.
Over half of Mega’s work is fully automated. Another 35% is mainly automated with human oversight. Only 10% requires end-to-end human production.
The platform uses multiple AI models depending on the use case, not just ChatGPT. This multi-model approach allows each agent to use the best available technology for its specific task.
Users can see work being done and performance metrics in real-time, but cannot directly alter outcomes. The system prioritizes speed and scale over granular control. Mega can generate and post 10 blog posts per day compared to the typical one per week when humans are writing.
The funding will accelerate product development and expand the agent capabilities. Mega is positioning itself as a hands-off marketing solution for SMBs who cannot afford traditional agencies.
